feelings covered by a summer drizzle

This is my submission for the Weekly Note Composing Jam, with the theme "Rainy Day"!

I decided to focus on the cozy and romantic aspect of rainy weather for this track.

The entire track is based on that repeating descending hexatonic scale run at the start. I placed it on different octaves on different parts of the meter to create an out of sync, cascading effect akin to falling raindrops, which eventually becomes a backdrop to the woodwinds playing the melody, swelling and eventually simmering down like a passing summer drizzle.
